Storage Tank and Silo Painting is our business and we want you to experience the benefits that come from our 1 crew that serves all 10 states. This assures you get our very best. We Paint It 4U is in the business of cleaning and coating all types of storage vessels. Often this will also involve associated bag houses, piping, ladders and hand rails.
The exterior surfaces are abrasive blasted or aggressively pressure washed with rotating nozzles and mechanically abraded to achieve a clean, sound surface suitable for coating.
Rust resistant primers whether they be epoxy or alkyd, are applied to assure corrosion resistance. Finish coats are formulated with polyurethane, for durability, color fastness, and gloss retention. Unless the customer has requested specific products; which are often inferior to our preferred Sherwin Williams Marine and Industrial Coatings, we apply Macropoxy 646 and Hi-Solids Polyurethane.
When coating the exteriors of tanks and silos; whether commercially or in an industrial setting, space is always limited. Our preferred method of access for the interiors or exteriors of tanks is the Spider ST-26 seen above.
Give us a call whether you are in Florida, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, Louisiana, Mississippi or Texas.
Coatings rather than paint is usually the preferred term when the conversation is about industrial assets including storage. Tank linings refer to specialized coatings used on the interiors of vessels.
These coatings provide corrosion resistance and can be highly specialized. Tank linings vary based on whether the products are dry or wet, hot or cold or even regulated by the FDA. Surface preparation is higher for these coating than many others.
Abrasive blasting commonly called sandblasting is accomplished at different pressures and various materials based on the situations. Our preferences are garnet, glass and coal slag.
USDA, FDA, and other regulations are strictly followed.
